SmoothyApply AI is a browser extension that helps users analyze job postings, review job eligibility, use resume and profile information, and assist with supported application forms.

1. Information We Handle

SmoothyApply AI may handle information that you choose to provide, including:

  • Name and contact information included in your profile or resume.
  • Resume/CV information.
  • Job application information.
  • Relevant information from job webpages that you choose to analyze.
  • Extension preferences and settings.
  • AI provider configuration and API credentials that you choose to configure.

2. How Information Is Used

This information is used only to provide SmoothyApply AI's job-analysis and application-assistance features, including job detection, eligibility review, resume/profile assistance, AI-assisted content generation, and supported form assistance.

3. Browser Storage

Information such as your profile, resume/CV, preferences and extension settings may be stored using the browser's extension storage so that the information can be reused between sessions.

4. AI Providers

When you use an AI feature, relevant information may be sent to the AI provider configured by you so that the requested AI operation can be performed.

If you use your own API key (BYOK), the key is configured by you for the selected AI provider. Never share your API key or password with support.

5. Job Website Information

When you use SmoothyApply AI on a supported job website, the extension may access relevant job-page and application-form information needed to provide its features.

6. User Control

SmoothyApply AI is designed to assist the user. You should review job analysis, eligibility results, generated content and populated application fields before taking final action.

7. Data Deletion

You can remove stored extension information through the browser's extension storage controls or by removing the extension, subject to the browser's storage behavior.

8. Third-Party Services

When information is sent to an AI provider selected by you, that provider may process the information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
